I am an "owner" of hooded, down turned eyes. I think I was born with them, but with age they are getting more hooded.
Now...there is nothing wrong with hooded eyes, people call them sexy eyes, bedroom eyes etc.
There is a lot of beautiful women out there with hooded eyes
But what are hooded eyes, I hear you ask. If you look straight ahead and you can't see your mobile lid (the lid that covers just your eyeball) or you see very little of it-you have hooded eyes, which means that when you put eye shadow on that mobile lid and then open your eyes, you can't see that eye shadow. Here is an example on Catherine Zeta Jones
You see that Catherine had to apply the eyeshadow much higher so you can see it.
So applying makeup to hooded eyes can be a challenge. As "hoodies"we have to adjust our eye shadow application technique so you can actually see the eye shadow (if you are a "hoodie", you know what I mean)
If you watch my video below "Hooded Eyes Do's and Don'ts" it will all become clear. Of course you don't have to adhere to these rules, this is how I do it, but you do "you".
