As you know, my bathroom makeover is finished. I really love it, now it is time to think about some finishing touches.
I wanted some sort of flower arrangement to put on my window sill, so I have decided to make one myself.
I bought everything in my favourite Garden Centre - Longacres in Bagshot.
First I have chosen silver cube container as it will match all the chrome fittings in my bathroom
I also bought an Oasis foam brick, you need the beige one as it is for artificial and dry flowers and you don't submerge it in water (use it dry) don't buy the green one unless you are going to use it for real flowers.
I roughly ( you can trim it later) cut the brick to tightly fit the container.
These are the artificial plats I have chosen for my arrangement
A couple of white Orchid steams and one stem of some sort of curly wood branch looking thing lol. And quite a few artificial green leaves
I have trimmed all the steams to my desired length, you don't need them to be very long as you are sticking them into the foam brick.
Let the fun begin...
First I stuck the woody looking thing lol, into the foam towards the back of the container.
I have placed the bigger Orchid just in front of the woody thing (I know..the wooden thing, that is what I am going to call it) and to the side, a green bunch of Orchid leaves.
I stuck the smaller Orchid horizontally to one side and then started filling the "bold" spaces with all the green leaves.
Here is my finished project
The two thicker brown sticks are the ends of the "woody thing" that I cut off at the beginning, I also added few blades of artificial grass that I had in another vase.
I am very happy with my arrangement and I think it looks stunning in my bathroom.
